I was raised in the cold and snowy north-land that is the Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. During the winter, when it got so cold that you just might die if you ventured outside, creative pursuits became a way to escape, as well as stay warm and safe. I now happily live in Portland, Oregon, as I've found six months of rain per year suits me better than six months of snow.

When I'm not behind the pages of my sketchbook or a Wacom tablet, I can usually be found riding around Portland on Crusher, my bike, or enjoying at least one of Portland's two favorite legal drugs, beer and coffee.
